Kales & Lettuces

All Redwood Nursery Seeds are open pollinated and organically grown with natural fertilizers and no pesticides. All seed are pre-packaged and sell for $2.49 per package. Seed count and weights are indicated along with the seed descriptions.

Kales

Black

Long savoyed, succulent leaves. Dark green on top of leaves and very dark to black on the underside of very curled leaves. Delicious and different. ½ gram = 125 seeds

 

Georgia Collards

Old time favorite for steamed greens or salads. May large leaves on cabbage like stalk. ½ gram = 100 seeds

Red Russian

This uncommon, old European variety has red-green, variegated frilly leaves. Beautiful appearance in the garden and wonderful flavor and nutrition on the table 1 gram = 250 seeds

Romaines: Erect conical shapes with broad crispy ribs in each leaf.

Red Leprechaun

Large Bibb head with classic soft, large, light green outer leaves ½ gram = 400 seeds

Pirat (Heirloom)

A fine, old German variety with exceptional creamy heart. color of this round head changes form brown to purple, then to white in the center. Delicious.

Tom Thumb (Heirloom)
